European co-operation on understanding and research of gender stereotypes
The first meeting of partner organizations was held in Italy (Campobasso) from 20th to 25th November, relating to the project GET - Gender Issues in Europe Today and within the Grundtvig partner programme of European Union. Gordana Obradović Dragišić and Anamarija Gospočić, CESI representatives attended the meeting held at the University in Molise. The goal of partnership and project is to come to the mutual understanding of issues of gender/sex construction and gender stereotypes conditioned by historical and cultural environment with purpose of development, testing and provision of studying models for various groups. Moreover, all participants attended the lecture for students of Molise University, and the subject-matter was the understanding of gender identities.
The partnership is co-ordinated by the organization Strategie 21 from Germany. Beside Strategie 21 and CESI, other participants in the project are: RoSa - Rol en Samenleving, vzw.
