CESI organizes an international conference with the support of the French Embassy in Croatia. The aim of the conference is to increase and encourage the participation of women in decision-making, especially in politics. The conference will be held on 5^th November 2010 in Zagreb, Hotel Dubrovnik.

The conference will also serve as a space for networking of participants interested in issues of gender equality and women's participation in decision-making.

The conference will stimulate discussion about political and social involvement of women in order to achieve women's rights, in accordance with the Beijing Platform for Action, the Millennium Development Goals and the national legislative framework of Croatia.

Official conference languages are Croatian and French, translation will be provided.
