A public panel "We want youth counseling services! Gotta problem with that?!" took place on October 6th at Culture centre Galženica in Velika Gorica. The event was organized by Velika Goricas's Youth Initiative  and CESI. Purpose of the discussion was to familiarize Velika Gorica's high school population with their sexual and reproductive rights and inform them on the need for establishment of counseling services and clinics that will deal with youth sexuality. Guest speakers at the panel were Nataša Bijelić from CESI who spoke on youth-friendly sexuality counseling services and Biserka Šavora, pedagogue from Avation High School "Rudolf Perešin" who shared her experiences in working with youth in the field of sexuality. The panel drew interest and instigated a lively discussion. Besides the panel, Youth Initiative also did a research among the youth in Velika Gorica to examine the level of knowledge on sexuality. Youth Initiative's activities are part of CESI's project "Youth Matters!".
