The third public discussion on teen-dating violence entitled "Silence is not Golden" was held in Public Open University in Split on 6th of May 2008. Special guest speakers were singers Luka Nižetić and Emina Arapović. In the public there were high school students from various high-schools and one elementary school from Split. We have noticed in the public students from School for Fine Arts and youth active in projects run by Info Zona. Luka emphasized the importance of dealing with the issue of teen-dating violence through campaigns, discussions and sensitization of youth. Emina spoke of women's experience of violence in public places with examples from her own life. Young people had a lot of questions but most of them were related to non-efficient state institutions that do not sanction violence. Young people that participated in the discussion believe that they cannot do anything to stop gender based violence. Although, the current situation in our society is difficult, each and everyone of us has the power to do something and stop gender based violence.
