In many European countries the issue of unequal pay is on political agendas and has gained certain relevance in public, in the media and in research discourses. But statistics on gender pay gaps show however that much more needs to be done to enable effective improvement.
Forum for Equality is an open platform of organizations that act publicly in order to contribute to equality of all Croatian citizens (men and women).
Project "Workwoman" aims to eliminate discrimination of women in the labor market and through this inspire their emancipation. The project is a result of insufficient protection of women in the labor market, where they are constantly subjected to discriminatory practices of the employer and working operating environment.
The project will be implemented in the next two years through these activities; education of project partners, education and mentoring work with women, making of the manual for women and future mentors for the work with women entrepreneurs and dissemination of knowledge and experiences with the project partners at the EU level.

CESI was partners on a project Be alarmed! that Mreža udruga Zagor implemented in partnership with Antun Gustav Matoš High School Zabok and Krapina-Zagorje County.

Project "Women choose a new chance" has been created on the basis of our long-term involvement and work with the women and other socially excluded groups within the framework of national strategies and employment plans. The project has been running since 2010 and various activities set to aim at the empowerment of women, education of women to further their employability and through free legal clinics providing information on their work and social rights.
